1. VMWareの設定とは

1.1 VMWareの設定とはなにか

VMWare Serverでは、仮想マシンの動作をVMWare上で変更することができます。

2. VMWareの設定

2.1 VMWareを設定する

VMWare Server ConsoleでVMWareの動作を設定します。
次の手順で、VMWareを設定します。

  1. VMWareを起動します。
    [VMWare Server Console]
  2. Edit-Preferencesとして、Preferencesダイアログを開きます。
    [Preferences]
  3. VMWareを次のように設定して、OKをクリックします。
    タブ 設定項目 設定
    Workspace Saved Information all
    Software Update Never
    Input Grab keypress and mouse input mouse click,key press
    HotKey Hot Key combination Ctrl+Alt
    Display Autofit autofit windows

以上で、VMWareの設定は終了です。

2.2 ホストを設定する

VMWare Server Consoleでホストの動作を設定できます。
次の手順で、ホストを設定します。

  1. VMWareを起動します。
    [VMWare Server Console]
  2. Host-Settingとして、Host Settingsダイアログを開きます。
    [Host Settings]
  3. 次のようにホストを設定し、OKをクリックします。
    タブ 設定項目 設定
    General Virtual Machinesフォルダ マイ ドキュメント\My Virtual Machines
    Memory Reserved Memory 512
    Additional Memory Allow some memory
    Priority Input Grabbed normal
    Input Ungrabbed normal
    Devices Removable Media Disable Auto Run
    Connection SSL settings use ssl
