1. Windows Media Playerとは何か?

Windows Media PlayerはWindowsOS標準の動画再生ソフトです。
OSのインストール時に旧バージョンのWindows Media Playerもインストールされますが、ここではWindows2000用最新バージョン_{('06/03/29現在)}のWM9をインストールします。

1.2 Windows Media Playerを手に入れる

Windows Media Playerは、Windows Media Playerのホームページからダウンロードできます。
次の手順で、Windows Media Playerをダウンロードします。

1. Windows Media ダウンロードセンターにアクセスします。
   
2. Windows Media Player 9 シリーズ（Windows 98 SE, ME, 2000 用）のDownload Nowボタンをクリックし、ファイルをダウンロードします。
   

以上でWindows Media Playerのダウンロードは終了です。

2. Windows Media Playerのインストールする

2.1 Windows Media Playerをインストールする

次の手順で、Windows Media Playerをインストールします。

1. ダウンロードしたmpsetup.exeを実行します。追加使用許諾契約書画面が表示されるので、同意するをクリックします。
   
2. Windows Media Playerのインストールを実行します。
   
3. Windows Media Player 9 シリーズへようこそ画面が表示されます。次へをクリックします。
   
4. プライバシー オプションの選択画面が表示されます。次へをクリックします。
   
5. インストール オプションの変更画面が表示されます、完了をクリックします。
